Melisa Dettbarn, Science teacher, Master Teacher – Recognized for her involvement in the NYS Master Teacher program, and shared about conferences she attended and professional development she facilitated through the program. 

 Justin Loeber, Social Studies teacher, was recognized by the University of South Carolina’s Shoah Foundation:  The Institute for Visual History and Education.  He was featured in a profile about how he uses iWitness to teach war and Holocaust: https://sfi.usc.edu/profiles/justin-loeber


 Rosalie Mangino-Crandall, Insight Grants Development, Inc. was formally recognized as a “Partner in Education” for her service to the District in grant writing and support. Mrs. Mangino-Crandall was instrumental in our being awarded over $2.5M in grants including the PEP grants and the STLE grant.  Rosalie recently worked with us to apply for another grant -  21st Century Learning Communities Grant.  rosalie
 bassoon  Congratulations to Eli Fox!  Eli was selected out of eight counties to participate in the Sr. High Area All-State Orchestra on Bassoon.  The Board of Education recognized Eli for this accomplishment at the October 11 meeting.
