Shooting for a Cure raised over $26,000.00!!!

We'd like to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who played a vital role in the success of our seventh annual Shooting For a Cure! game.

This year we were able to raise $26,181,28! Simply AMAZING! Over the past seven seasons that we've hosted this game our community has raised close to $87,000 in total for research at Roswell Park! What a remarkable community we share! Our staff is amazing. The athletes are inspiring.

This year Coach Funke and I could not be prouder of these young female-athletes, especially the two seniors who drove across WNY, flooded Facebook and Twitter seeking support as well as making countless phone calls to local are businesses. We truly appreciate all of the people who donated their time and effort (as well as funds) to this event. We continue to be amazed by our community; the love, the generosity and the support that is continually shown to our students and their efforts is remarkable. We are so proud to be a part of such an amazing school district.

These students really want to make a difference in the lives of others and we are lucky to share in that with them. We appreciate the support of our administration and school board to allow for compassionate ideas like these to flourish.

THANK YOU for making this event possible and an experience that these girls will never forget. This event isn't successful without the incredibly supportive community, faculty, staff and administration we are so fortunate to have.

-Ron Funke, Michael Wilson & The Pembroke Girls Basketball Team
